Who is Jacque Fresco?

The EV Fresco XL is named after the American industrial designer and self-described social engineer Jacque Fresco, who died in the year 2017. Mr. Fresco, was vocal through all his life for sustainable future, energy efficiency, cybernatics and advocated global implementation of a sustainable socio-economic system which he termed as “resource based economy”.His ‘Venus project’ with Roxanne Meadows on futuristic evolution recognizing the global resource mismanagement and various other pertinent issues like war, climate change, poverty and hunger certainly places him among the memorable personalities of the present time. The futuristic design and specifications of the car has got it’s well deserved name, undoubtedly.

Fresco XL: Specifications :

The future is wonderful with Fresco XL

Fresco XL, which was earlier named Reverie, is still in future. But the claim of an 8 seater car with 1000 kms of range in a single charge is quite impressive. The company said that the car will be armed with a double-stacked extra-large battery pack that “solves the range anxiety problem” usually found in Electric Car users. The vehicle is also said to have dual motor. It will be built for harsher climates like snow and strong rain. As the company is based in Scandinavia, where freezing cold is experienced, the car is surely to be sturdy and comfortable. Though no specific details have been shared but it is believed to be have a quite large aerodynamic body and will be a all wheel drive.

Built to Last :

Norway is famous for it’s harsh and snowy climate. Fresco has given emphasis on making their Electric Car to face harsh to harsher problem in Norwegian winters. Espen Kvalvik, CEO & chairman of the board of fresco disclosed ” due to the harsh climates our customers are located in, we have chosen to equip each axle with their own electric motor”. He also said ” not only will this standard equipment ensure better traction on slippery roads, but the all-wheel-drive (AWD) will make the fresco XL off-road capable as well.” It gives Electric car lovers a certain interest over Fresco XL and it’s on road debut.

XTRA large Fresco XL:

Fresco XL seems to be large and sturdy

With it’s capacity being a 8 seater, Frecso XL is expected to be extra large, both in size and in it’s capacity as well. According to Adrian Kristofer Locklindh, COO & member of the board of fresco. ” due to its rather large battery pack, it would essentially work as a backup unit, and as the fresco XL is such an extra-large vehicle, you can quite easily use it for camping and road trips. All you need to do is pull down the seats to create a flat surface, put in your bedding and use it as a camper.” He further added “in the case you need some additional energy, hook up your fresco XL to your house or cabin”.

The Competition of Future:

Fresco XL is surely to give a tough competition to Elon Musk’s ‘Cybertruck’, if both are launched successfully. In fact the disruptive claim of Fresco XL has already started debates among the EV enthusiasts about the decreasing popularity of Cybertruck. As Norway is focussed to replace all it’s vehicles to EV, and as Fresco is available for pre-order with unspecified final price with 3000 initial production, it seems the EV is soon to be on road. Musk’s EV seems not to be launched in the year 2022 as the claims have been removed from it’s website. We are eager to know if the future lies in Norway or Musk’s USA.
