New Tata Electric Car:
Tata Electric will never fail to surprise it’s fan. With one after one launch of the state of the art Electric vehicles Tata has become already the market leader in Electric Cars in India and they are launching a new armour soon on 29th April. Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited has already declared a global debut of their new Electric Car and People are speculating what it will be!
The Tata CURVV Concept:
The recently released concept version of Tata CURVV cars are going to be coupe styled Electric SUVs which will take more time to be launched but the upcoming debut of Tata car will be different. It is thought that Tata is going to electrify one of it’s immensely popular cars which already has ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) variant. Tata has already produced and launched the Electric version of Tata Nexon and Tata Tigor cars and both of them are quite successful.
Will Altroz be an EV?
It is highly speculated that after the success of it’s two Electric cars the Tata Nexon EV and Tata Tigor EV, it is the Tata Altroz that has the maximum probability of transforming into an Electric car. All the three cars are built on TATA’s Alfa Arc platform and all the three were being huge succesful cars on the roads, Tata fans who are environment conscious will obviously be looking for the electric version of Tata Altroz. Altroz has got the highest Global NCAP crash test rating of 5 star declaring it as one of the safest premium hatchbacks and people will never think much to pay for it’s electric avatar.
Altroz EV:
Tata has already showcased the Altroz EV in the Geneva Motor Show in 2019. This car is based on Tata Motors Alfa Arc (Agile Light Flexible Advanced Architecture )Platform which is suitable for both ICE ( Internal Combustion Engine) and EV ( Electric Vehicle) alike. The pre launched EVs Tata Nexon EV and Tata Tigor EV are both based on TATA’s Alfa Arc Module. So as Altroz comes to the third in the list, there is high chance of it to be transitioned into an Electric Car.
Long Range Nexon EV:
Tata can also launch it’s Nexon EV with advanced battery having a range of more than 400 km in a single charge. With updated 40 kWh battery pack the long range Nexon EV will also have regenerative braking, ventilated front seat, cruise control and many other advanced features to compete with global standards like of MG and Hyundai electric cars. Currently Tata Nexon EV gives about 225 kms of range in real world situation.
However, Tata Motors has kept the name of the car to be launched a great secret.
Altroz EV Spied:
Tata Altroz EV is seen on testing in camouflage mode on NH 48 very recently by different car communities. It rises the rumour more that the new Tata EV may be Altorz.
